A few things I found out about this:

Residents of the United States of America only. Promotion starts May 25th at 9am EDT. Free glasses include the frame and standard 1.5 index lenses. Maximum 10,000 frames available to be redeemed. All upgrades including coatings, progressives, bifocals, tints, and high index lenses are not included with this offer. Shipping and handling applies. Some frames may not be eligible. Limit 1 per household. Previous free glasses recipients excluded. CoastalContacts.com reserves the right to cancel orders. Please note: Multiple orders made from the same computer and household will be cancelled.

Also, someone posted a lenghty review of Coastal Contacts.

They were just ordering frames, though, so I had to look around elsewhere for some additional info. It seems they have this offer every few weeks. While the glasses are free, they charge about $15-20 shipping which does make them slightly more expensive than Zenni Optical. I've also heard they charge more for anything more than the basic lenses, such as extra coatings. Aside from that, people say the frames are better quality than what you get from Zenni (although not all of their frames will be free - although some name brand frames are free which seems like a great deal).

I've read different things about the customer support. Overall, it seems like a better experience than what people get with Zenni. Glasses come in about 10-14 days, sometimes sooner. Some people have reported good experiences when they had to call for phone support.

I'll be interested to hear about other people's experiences. This seems like a very good option for someone wanting basic glasses at a great price.

Where will I get my next pair? Can anyone help me? I saw the comments above, but I am still confused that if Coastal Contacts offer the glasses I can afford as a college student. How much should I pay? What should I pay attention to if order online? And how about the quality and service from them? Thanks for your answer in advance.

If you are a student and not in a huge hurry, then I would suggest going with Zenni Optical. They are probably the cheapest and most of the time they will get your order correct with decent quality. When Coastal Contacts runs their free glasses offers, they are a reasonable alternative, but Zenni's prices are always extremely low. If you happen to have any issues with Zenni, their customer support is not good - which is the risk you pay for their super low price. If you want to make sure you get very good quality and great customer support, then I would suggest you go with Costco (assuming you or a family member has a membership).
